Pittsburgh Big Brother - Big Sister - is searching for a Site Based Enrollment and Match Specialist
Position Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
The position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service through the effective implementation of volunteer and child enrollment and matching process.
- In addition,
- the individual will be responsible for providing match support to ensure child safety,
- positive impacts for youth, constructive and,
- satisfying relationships between children and volunteers,
- and a strong sense of affiliation with BBBS.
- The successful employee will produce positive outcomes in the following areas:
- match closure rate,
- frequency of match closures,
- average match length,
- volunteer retention rate,
- and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Minimum bachelors degree in social work, social services, education, counseling or related field.
- Assessment and relationship development experience with child and adult populations,
- and an understanding of child development and family dynamics.
- Specific experience in assessment, intake or interviewing, and/or family, group or individual counseling preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Must have valid driver’s license,
- meet state required automobile insurance minimums,
- and access to reliable transportation.
