Pittsburgh Big Brother - Big Sister - is searching for a Site Based Enrollment and Match Specialist

Position Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

The position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service through the effective implementation of volunteer and child enrollment and matching process.

• In addition,

1. the individual will be responsible for providing match support to ensure child safety,
2. positive impacts for youth, constructive and,
3. satisfying relationships between children and volunteers,
4. and a strong sense of affiliation with BBBS.

• The successful employee will produce positive outcomes in the following areas:

1. match closure rate,
2. frequency of match closures,
3. average match length,
4. volunteer retention rate,
5. and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Minimum bachelors degree in social work, social services, education, counseling or related field.
• Assessment and relationship development experience with child and adult populations,
• and an understanding of child development and family dynamics.
• Specific experience in assessment, intake or interviewing, and/or family, group or individual counseling preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Must have valid driver’s license,
• meet state required automobile insurance minimums,
• and access to reliable transportation.
